( Lyra writes) We have spent the last two days in the Galapagos. It has been fantastic. We are staying on a 'yacht' cruising around different islands. We had to fly here from Quito via Guayaquil .
Yesterday on Santa Cruz island we saw giant tortoises. They were massive and could walk quite fast.
The shells are huge, as Lucas is showing here.
We also saw frigate birds
We also saw a bird called a blue footed booby!
It is lovely and warm here, about 25 degrees.
