16th July. Turtles, penguins and sea lions galore.

Today we awoke to a new view of a new island (s). The islet of Eden is a small islet off of Santa Cruz. We started with a ride in an inflatable dingy around the isle spotting all sorts of wonders (not too sure what Lucas thought)

Dad went deep water snorkelling and saw a sea turtle

In the afternoon we went for a hike and more snorkelling. It was Lucas's and Mum's first time - they were like fish. We saw a shark (Lucas was delighted), stingrays, a puffer fish, sea lions, loads of other different fish and even some penguins! No underwater camera means our shots of fish are somewhat limited.

At the end of the snorkelling session Lyra and dad played with the sea lions in the water. Lyra managed to swim across the bay with dad to another island. The snorkelling was superb. We ended the day in the hot tub on the boat to warm up, as the water is cold and we all needed wetsuits.
